The Languang Bridge in Wulai, with a history of nearly 50 years, has been decided to be demolished and rebuilt due to its aging structure, insufficient pier height, and severe damage from typhoon attacks. The new “Languang Bridge” has recently been completed, and coinciding with the Mid-Autumn Festival, it is launching a series of lively light and water screen shows.

The Languang Bridge is an important infrastructure linking the economic development and tourism of the Wulai area. Its reconstruction enhances flood prevention capabilities. To celebrate the completion of the new bridge and the Mid-Autumn Festival, a special event titled “Mid-Autumn Moonlight Water Screen Light Show and Languang Bridge Opening Ceremony” was held on September 13, Mid-Autumn Day.

It looks even more charming when lit up at night.
At 6:30 PM on Mid-Autumn Eve, the new Languang Bridge in Wulai’s hot spring street will be illuminated, with a water screen spraying in front to create a stunning light and water dance performance.

The Languang Bridge hosts a light and water screen performance event during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
In addition, transparent glass viewing platforms have been set up at both ends of the riverbanks on the new bridge, allowing visitors to overlook the rushing waters of the Nanshi River below and feel the powerful flow.
