This year marks the 50th anniversary of the successful Apollo 11 moon landing in the United States. Snoopy is leading fans on a journey from the moon to space exploration, with commemorative events taking place around the world. Hualien is also joining this global celebration, launching two highlight space-themed experiences at the Hualien Dongmen Night Market and various commercial districts from September 6 to November 30.

SNOOPY on a space mission encounters an interstellar voyage in Hualien. The SNOOPY maze, set up in the Sunshine Electric City of the Dongmen Night Market, covers an area of about 0.6 hectares. You must conquer the maze challenge to return to the space base and embark on another adventure. At night, there's a starlight edition where you can see a sparkling SNOOPY shining alongside Hualien’s night sky.

The maze hides classic and camping-loving SNOOPY plush toys, six SNOOPY Q&A challenges, and a mobile app treasure hunt program. Scan all the QR codes inside the maze, successfully complete the rocket assembly and watch it launch—bring the rocket launch photo to the service desk to receive a souvenir.

There’s also a space base and numerous SNOOPY-themed photo spots. Step into the space base to enjoy real space footage and try on a spacesuit to simulate Armstrong stepping on the moon’s surface. Near Chongqing Road in the Sunshine Electric City, an 8-meter-tall space-shaped SNOOPY balloon will debut after the Mid-Autumn Festival and is sure to become a popular photo hotspot.
