From Friday to Sunday (September 20–22), Typhoon Tapah will gradually move northward from the eastern side of Taiwan while strengthening the northeast monsoon. The windward northern regions of Taiwan are prone to intermittent rainfall, which may sometimes be heavier. Those going out should take precautions. The Hualien-Taitung area and southern regions may also see occasional light scattered showers, while central regions will have mostly cloudy weather, with a chance of localized brief showers in mountainous areas in the afternoon. Regarding temperatures, the northeastern and northern areas will see daytime highs between only 27–30°C due to the rain, giving a damp and cool feel, while the central and southern regions will still experience temperatures between 29–33°C.

From next Monday to Wednesday (September 23–25), Typhoon Tapah will gradually move away, but the overall environment will still be under the influence of the northeast monsoon, though its intensity will weaken slightly. The northern and northeastern regions will have localized brief showers, while other areas will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with localized brief showers in mountainous areas of the central and southern regions in the afternoon. Regarding temperatures, the northern and eastern parts of Taiwan will see daytime highs around 30°C, while the central and southern regions could reach highs of 30–32°C, feeling somewhat muggy.

From the 26th to the 28th, under the influence of the northeast monsoon, the northern and eastern parts of Taiwan will have localized brief showers, while other areas will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with localized brief showers in mountainous areas in the afternoon.
