Starbucks' Starry Meal celebrates its anniversary with a new breakthrough, unveiling a brand-new Chef Series in collaboration with internationally certified chefs. The series will make its debut on September 18 with three Italian focaccia options co-created with Chef Augustin, whose restaurant holds the esteemed recognition of the Red Guide shrimp, Italy’s most authoritative food guide.

Additionally, on November 6, a collaboration with Chef Deng Youkui, the “Taiwanese Steak Godfather” and holder of one Michelin star, will launch the Beef Panini series — a dream collaboration offering a luxurious and exotic culinary experience.

The Chef Series making its first appearance on September 18 is a collaboration with Chef Augustin, whose restaurant has received three certifications from the Red Guide. A chef who trained in Italy, he brings the craftsmanship and passion passed down from Italian masters, aiming to offer customers the warm, homely flavors of traditional Italian cuisine. Just as Starbucks starts with Italian coffee to connect people and their surroundings with warmth, the chef drew inspiration from traditional Italian family-style focaccia to echo Starbucks’ pursuit of an Italian-flavored leisurely atmosphere, as well as its dedication to coffee culture and a better lifestyle.

Chef Augustin, known for his expertise in sourdough baking techniques, uses hand-kneaded and stretched sourdough dough to create bread with an indescribably soft flavor. The three focaccia items launched in collaboration with Starbucks — “Tuna Cheese Tomato Focaccia,” “Pink Ham Spinach Cheese Focaccia,” and “Italian Chicken Focaccia” — combine the chef’s signature soft bread with a colorful array of Italian vegetables, fruits, and cheese spreads, evoking the warmth and flavors of Italy. These items are available exclusively from September 18 to November 5 (or while supplies last).
