Dazzling light sculptures illuminate Starlight Bridge – a new riverside landmark on Microphone Bridge

Located between Chang’an Bridge and Jiangbei Bridge in Xizhi District, New Taipei City, a newly built pedestrian and bicycle-only bridge called Starlight Bridge spans the Keelung River and connects directly to Wudu Railway Station, offering stunning views of the riverside scenery. Now, Starlight Bridge has been given a new starry makeover, with night light sculptures turning it into a local landmark.

The structure of Starlight Bridge adopts a “single inclined tower cable-stayed bridge” design, with its 75-meter tower column featuring an inclined form that changes colors every two seconds. The main bridge column resembles a towering giant microphone pointing towards the sky, while the white tower and bridge body are equipped with dot-shaped light sources, creating a dazzling array of twinkling stars at night.

With a total length of 270 meters, the wide bridge deck of Starlight Bridge, when viewed from above, resembles a powerful dragon spanning the Keelung River, beautifully mirrored on the water’s surface. At night, the dazzling and colorful illuminated reflections on the river are truly enchanting.
