This IKEA pop-up Hotel also invites Huang Zi Jiao and Wei Ru Xuan (aka “Doll”) to serve as curators of well-designed spaces. Drawing from their own experiences and lifestyle needs, they have respectively designed a “Stylish Bachelor” room and a “New Parents” room, transforming spaces through design and sharing the secrets to crafting a better life.

Stylish Bachelor Room Type, curated by Huang Zi Jiao, features a bold red corner sofa as the highlight of the space. The design is also flexible in use—besides adding extra storage, it displays his favorite vinyl records on the wall, blending personal interests into daily life. The clever use of space further enhances the aesthetic feel of living.

New Parents Room Type, designed by “Doll” Wei Ru Xuan, includes a baby crib, diaper changing station, and foldable floor mat to create a practical parenting space. A corner armchair and small desk lamp are also placed, offering not only a cozy nook for rest but also a functional area for late-night feedings.
