Heart & Harmony, a popular queue-worthy shop known as the “Godfather-level cheesecake,” has grandly opened on the fourth floor of Dream Mall starting today.

The flagship store in Pingtung once set an astonishing record of selling over a thousand boxes within an hour. It is Taiwan’s first dessert shop themed around cheesecake, and beloved flavors such as Sunlight Orange, Cranberry, Fermented Cherry, and Snow Moon Spring Sakura are all available at Dream Mall.

Heart & Harmony’s head chef, Liu Yu-wei, won the championship in two consecutive Taiwan Regional Cheesecake Creative Competitions hosted by the U.S. Dairy Export Council with his “German Heavy Cheesecake” and the revamped “New York Cheesecake”! Since founding the shop in 2004, he has developed nearly 90 flavors.

Upholding the integration with local ingredients, the cheesecakes subtly incorporate Taiwanese flavors. For example, “A-Kou Wang Lai” lets you enjoy the unique fruity aroma and tanginess of Pingtung’s native pineapple, “Matau Wentai” blends the refreshing sweetness of Matau pomelo, and “Da Hu Strawberry” features premium strawberries from Da Hu to highlight the ripe fragrance of berries.
