Plains areas of Yilan, mountainous regions of New Taipei and Taoyuan may have localized heavy rain or very heavy rain. Northern Taiwan, mountainous areas of Hualien, and the Keelung northern coast may see localized moderate to heavy rain. Central, eastern, southeastern, and southern mountainous areas of Taiwan, as well as Matsu, have a chance of localized heavy rain. Please be alert for lightning strikes and strong gusts. With continuous rainfall, be cautious of landslides, falling rocks, and sudden rises in river water levels in mountainous areas. Low-lying regions should also guard against flooding.
