Taiwan’s Time Machine of Progress, built-in with gears designed based on elements such as sports, music, telecommunications, technology, military, and space science, showcases the nation’s united spirit of moving forward through collaborative construction. The design also incorporates selected hidden objects from 100 secret elements of the Presidential Office as Easter eggs. Against a night-like black background, golden hues create a surreal light sculpture that blends the classic, the present, and the future, heralding the 2019 National Day Presidential Office light show and celebrating the glorious moments forged by Taiwanese people of different eras through their hard work.
2018 National Day Presidential Office Light Show
This year’s National Day light show will run for 7 days from October 4 to October 10, with performances every evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, one show every 30 minutes, held on Ketagalan Boulevard in front of the Presidential Office, sharing Taiwan’s rich and diverse artistic atmosphere. Additionally, the first National Day light show lighting ceremony will take place at 7:00 PM on October 4. Come to the front of the Presidential Office to enjoy the National Day light show and celebrate the nation’s birthday together!
