An outdoor feast is about to unfold, and a one-of-a-kind forest bliss journey is making its surprise debut. Starting July 28, the Cuìyúnshan Forest Scenic Area Music & Food Carnival will be held continuously until the end of August. A grand celebration meticulously crafted with breathtaking scenery, delicious food, vibrant music, and exciting sports will offer visitors an extraordinary experience. Registration is now officially open!

A variety of exciting activities will take place in rotation. Local top-tier bands will perform passionately; sumptuous BBQ dinners featuring hot dishes, cold dishes, fruits, desserts, and grilled specialties will be served; crackling bonfires will set the stage for joyful dancing; and dazzling light performances will create a dreamlike atmosphere. This is a passionate musical carnival and a culinary journey to satisfy all taste buds. Alpine meadows and northern forests, where the collision of primal and modern, beauty and ruggedness meet, promise a breathtaking and unforgettable experience. On July 28, during the first “Stroll the Sky” Week, Cuìyúnshan will welcome a special group of guests — parent-child teams made up of teachers, parents, and children — who will bring youthful vitality and fresh energy to the mountain!

This Cuìyúnshan Forest Scenic Area Music & Food Carnival is organized by Hebei Tourism Investment Group’s Zhangjiakou Chongli Shanshui Tourism Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., and hosted by Zhangjiakou Chongli Great Wall Aoxue Tourism Development Management Co., Ltd.

Strolling the Sky, challenging yourself

This Cuìyúnshan Forest Music & Food Carnival has prepared a range of activities for visitors including the Sky City experience, bonfire parties, and lucky wheels. Sky City is a signature attraction of the Cuìyúnshan Forest Scenic Area, with its first batch of jungle crossings, treetop journeys, and aerial net adventures already open. The 30-obstacle jungle crossing includes swinging bridges, goat bridges, U-shaped nets, and mini rock climbing — offering a diverse range of challenges. The 520-meter-long treetop journey features 5 treehouses and wooden boardwalks suspended in the air, letting you breathe fresh forest air, listen to birdsong, and enjoy a relaxing time. The 300-square-meter aerial net adventure lets you walk, run, jump, and slide — perfect for both adults and kids.

Bonfire music party, all-in-one fun

The bonfire party is a simple yet fun way to make friends. As the fire starts small and grows into a roaring blaze, the atmosphere becomes lively. The bonfire brings people closer, and everyone gathers to dance joyfully to upbeat music. You can also team up with friends from all over to have a splashing good time playing water gun games in the forest, reliving the carefree joy of childhood!The lucky wheel not only offers experience vouchers for Cuìyúnshan’s signature jungle crossings, treetop journeys, and aerial net adventures, but also entertainment activities such as singing, learning to dance, and drinking beer, plus some fun penalty options. In addition to the fun activities, band performances, luxurious buffet dinners, and stunning light shows will also be on stage. Local Zhangjiakou bands — Plant Sun, Shangjie Band, Mono Band, and Yu Liang Band — will take turns performing, delivering powerful live music. Brilliant lights will pierce the night sky, creating a dynamic audiovisual experience that lets visitors unwind and let their spirits soar with the music.

A grand food gathering, delicious and satisfying

Enjoying outdoor cuisine with a breeze in your hair and music overhead is an experience unmatched by any air-conditioned room. Over two hours of buffet dining include fragrant hot dishes such as grilled fish with barbecue sauce and braised old duck, refreshing salads like smoked chicken with lemon and shrimp with pineapple, sweet and tangy fruits like watermelon and pineapple, delicious cakes such as cheesecake and assorted mousses, savory lamb skewers from Bashang that are rich but not greasy, and juicy chicken skewers that are crispy outside and tender inside. Visitors are sure to eat to their heart's content!

Under blue skies and white clouds, children will dance joyfully alongside their parents and teachers, exploring the great forest, wandering through alpine meadows, running through fields of flowers, and searching for treasures in the woods. Event pricing

The event fee is 198 RMB per person, which includes admission, one experience (choose one from the first three activities: jungle crossing, treetop journey, or aerial net adventure — all part of the Cuìyúnshan Sky City featured during the “Stroll the Sky” Week), as well as the bonfire party, buffet dinner, and games. Tents, sleeping mats, sleeping bags, and similar items are not included.
