Known as Japan’s largest winter light festival, the Nabana no Sato Winter Illumination in Nagashima, Mie Prefecture, kicked off on October 19, 2019, and ran until May 6, 2020. Its dreamy beauty has been called a once-in-a-lifetime sight.

Nabana no Sato is a large outdoor park themed around seasonal flowers and plants, boasting what is said to be Japan’s largest “Flower Square.”

A variety of flowers can be seen blooming in succession all year round. During the winter light display period, different light decorations are also used to interpret the beautiful aspects of nature.

The most iconic feature of the Nabana no Sato light show is the 200-meter-long “Flower Corridor,” a spectacular tunnel of lights formed by 1.2 million petal-shaped bulbs.

In addition, there is also a 100-meter-long “~Sakura~” cherry blossom light tunnel, thematic light sculptures, the Light Cloud Sea, the Light River, and other breathtaking sights not to be missed.
