During the early development of Sanwan, ponds played a significant role. However, after the construction of the Yonghe Mountain Reservoir, their importance diminished. To preserve the cultural heritage of the ponds and promote leisure agriculture, Beibu Village built recreational trails and cycling paths around them, attracting visitors to enjoy the rural charm and leisure farming experience.

The Tongjing Sanlin Trail is located next to the Grand Pond Farm in Tongjing Village, Sanwan Township. It offers serene water views and beautiful mountain landscapes that soothe both body and mind. The area also features the shimmering waters of Dalonggang Lake. The trail is about 1.5 km long with a moderate slope, and is equipped with observation decks, pavilions, and resting benches along the way—making it perfect for a family-friendly hiking adventure.

The Yuemei Suspension Bridge in Xiaotongluoquan, Tongjing Village, Sanwan Township, was built in 1929. Originally a key route connecting Nanzhuang and Sanwan to Toufen, the steel-truss bridge is about 150 meters long and 4 meters wide. Standing on the bridge, you can admire the natural scenery of the river ahead and behind. Through the transparent bridge deck, you can even see the clear waters of the Emei Stream flowing beneath, occasionally graced by egrets flying overhead—offering a tranquil and refreshing view.
