Located on Dadu Mountain in Keelung, Lover’s Lake Park is known as the city’s back garden. Here, you can admire the beautiful lakeside scenery, cross the narrow Lover’s Suspension Bridge, and snap photos at the European-style castle viewpoint and windmill. Legend has it that a couple once jumped into the lake to end their lives due to family opposition. The lakeside area was once abandoned, but after restoration, the scenic area now features two connected lakes—one large and one small—symbolizing lovers embracing each other. It’s said that if couples hold hands and walk across the Lover’s Suspension Bridge together, they will have good marital fortune.

Wangyou Valley, a hidden gem, refers to the experience of gazing down at a lush green valley from above, which helps you forget all worries. Walking along the Badaozih Coastal Park trail, you can gaze at Keelung Islet across the water. At night, you can also enjoy the twinkling fishing lights on the sea and the illuminated landscape of Jiufen Mountain Town.

From the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology to Chaojing Park, there are over 10 art installations perfect for photos. Coupled with breathtaking aerial views of the blue sea, this has become a popular check-in spot. Among them, the “Broom Savior,” installed two years ago and inspired by a French artist, resembles a magical broom from Harry Potter, and still attracts many visitors for photos.

Located in Keelung’s Dadu’ao Fishing Harbor, this area boasts naturally magnificent coastal lines and a small but beautiful crescent-shaped golden beach. Usually, you can sit by the shore and listen to the sound of the waves—a perfect place to relax and clear your mind. During rapidly changing weather, you can also enjoy the spectacular sight of fiery red clouds at sunset, creating a refreshing and uplifting view.
