Breaking away from conventional product formats, Genki Fried Chicken’s R&D team conceived the “Big Bites” concept to develop the “Chuansuo Huo” series of fried snacks. This line features six varieties — chicken heart, chicken thigh meat, chicken gizzard, pork, squid, and mushroom — all infused with a unique numbing-spicy dry fragrance. Each serving is uniformly priced at NT$60 (all items come with five pieces per serving, except mushroom which comes with eight pieces). Limited-time exclusive sales are now underway at four locations: Taipei – Xinyi ATT, New Taipei – Tamsui, Taichung – Fuxing, and Taichung – Yizhong. To celebrate the official launch, from now until November 3, customers who purchase any classic combo meal can also add on a “Chuansuo Huo” set for just NT$49, allowing fans to enjoy their fill and share the delight with friends.

The new “Chuansuo Huo” fried snacks achieve a distinctive “numbing-spicy aroma” and a “chewy, more flavorful with every bite” texture through a blend of various specially formulated Sichuan seasonings.

The “Chuansuo Huo” series takes inspiration from traditional Sichuan skewers as its core, carefully selecting fresh chicken thigh meat, pork, tender chicken hearts, and chicken gizzards. These ingredients are marinated in an exclusive spicy sauce, then coated with a special sauce, dried Sichuan peppercorn seeds, crushed Dahongpao peppercorns, and scallions after frying, resulting in that signature “numbing-spicy aroma” and “chewy, more flavorful with every bite” taste. To stay true to Sichuan’s bold eating style, Genki Fried Chicken has cut the ingredients into bite-sized pieces and skewered them on bamboo sticks, offering fans the ultimate pleasure of “eating multiple skewers in one big bite.” Whether paired with drinks or alcohol, these snacks are the perfect delicious choice.

The “Taike Three-Piece Chicken” features king-size chicken thighs, delivering generous and satisfying portions.

Meanwhile, 28 outlets across Taiwan are also offering the new fried chicken set meal, “Taike Three-Piece Chicken.” It uses king-size chicken thighs, with the whole thigh cut into three generous pieces, then lightly battered using a proprietary thin flour coating before frying. This maintains the brand’s signature crispy skin and juicy meat. A newly created traditional curing technique is also applied, enhancing the tenderness and flavor of the meat, which stays delicious even when cooled, offering a lingering sweet aftertaste the more you eat. In addition to the NT$130 single-item price, there’s also a NT$180 combo that pairs three pieces of fried chicken with milk floss silver thread rolls and a plum juice, creating a satisfying two-in-one fried chicken and drink set. From now until November 3, to celebrate the new launch, the “Taike Three-Piece Chicken” combo is available at a promotional price of NT$169 (originally NT$180).

Starting October 8, Genki Fried Chicken will be available at 7-ELEVEN locations nationwide and can be enjoyed even during breakfast hours.

Fans who can’t make it to the stores don’t have to miss out — Genki Fried Chicken and 7-ELEVEN have also teamed up to offer the “Garlic Fried Chicken Rice Ball” (regular price NT$39) and “Garlic Fried Chicken Combo Rice Roll” (regular price NT$75), so you can still enjoy a whole piece of boneless fried chicken.

The collaboration product “Genki Fried Chicken – Garlic Fried Chicken Rice Ball” breaks away from the traditional Japanese-style rice ball aesthetic. To showcase the unique Taiwanese flavor and irresistible aroma of Genki Fried Chicken, 7-ELEVEN and the Genki Fried Chicken team spent half a year developing the first “heatable Taiwanese-style rice ball and roll.” Featuring a whole piece of boneless garlic-flavored chicken thigh as the star ingredient, it delivers a bold, chicken-packed bite in every mouthful. The other item, the “Genki Fried Chicken – Garlic Fried Chicken Combo Rice Roll,” reflects the hearty, veggie-and-meat options typical of Taiwanese fried chicken. In addition to the boneless garlic chicken thigh roll, it also includes sweet sweet potatoes, green beans, and baby corn, giving convenience store diners everything they crave in one go.
