Mr. Eyes from France invites you on a visual art adventure for the whole family – a must-visit to broaden your child’s horizons

An authoritative figure in children’s art education from Paris brings a brand-new, family-friendly art workshop titled “My Eye,” gathering five rising French designers to open up children’s diverse perspectives through a variety of fun-filled activities.

The “Children’s Art Workshop” established by the Centre Pompidou in Paris debuts its new theme this year: “My Eye – A Visual Art Adventure,” launching at Christmas. This theme is inspired by the Centre Pompidou’s popular animated short of the same name, “My Eye” (mon oeil). The animation invites many contemporary young French artists to use cartoon-style storytelling to let children experience ever-changing visual sensations. The main character is “Mr. Eye,” who appears as a lively and adorable figure, making learning about art as simple and fun as watching cartoons for kids.

“My Eye – A Visual Art Adventure” combines works by five renowned Parisian designers and illustrators, using elements from their creations to help children understand and interact with art through graphic design, illustration, and imagery—reawakening young viewers’ visual senses and allowing them to gain unexpected insights and perspectives during the creative process.

This event features five challenge levels that encourage children to rethink how they view and approach art through play: What You See Isn’t Always What You Can Touch in “Fun with Art Archaeology”; Exploring the Inner Secrets of the Centre Pompidou Using Light in “Explore the Museum”; Moving Things Around to Discover the Magic of Optical Illusions in “Move Magic House”; Learning About Layout and Color Through Games in “Geometric Mountain Building”; and Becoming Part of the Artwork Yourself in “Me and the Silly Dog”! By using the most familiar elements of play, art becomes a source of joy for both kids and adults alike.
