AGM X3 Geek Edition
Supports satellite calls, a true outdoor phone
At the end of last month, the outdoor phone brand AGM officially launched its annual flagship, the AGM X3, along with the AGM X3 Geek Edition, tailored specifically for extreme outdoor enthusiasts.
The core features of the AGM X3 Geek Edition were announced as early as the launch event. In collaboration with China Telecom, this model supports TianTong satellite calls, meaning that even in areas with no cellular signal, users can stay connected via satellite phone, significantly enhancing safety during outdoor activities.
In terms of design, the AGM X3 Geek Edition adopts a modular setup, separating the phone from the satellite call module. The two are connected via Bluetooth to make satellite calls. Additionally, the Geek Edition phone comes with a 4100mAh battery, while the satellite module has its own 4000mAh battery, ensuring extended usage during outdoor adventures.
Beyond that, the AGM X3 Geek Edition is equipped with flagship-level specs, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and an ample 8GB+256GB memory configuration for smooth performance. On the audio front, there’s also a significant upgrade, with dual sound chambers co-designed with JBL and tuning by JBL’s “golden ears,” delivering clear highs and deep, punchy lows for excellent sound quality even outdoors.
Protection features, a key concern for outdoor users, have also been enhanced in the AGM X3 Geek Edition. It achieves 1.5-meter free-fall drop resistance and 1.5-meter water depth waterproofing, and includes floatation capability, allowing it to stay afloat on water. The screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, offering improved shatter and scratch resistance to reduce outdoor worries.
Overall, with satellite calls, a Snapdragon 845 processor, and robust triple protection, the AGM X3 Geek Edition is a true outdoor flagship phone. Pre-orders are now open on all official AGM platforms.
