Nestled on a cliff, this dreamlike hotel features a hundreds-of-meters-high see-through infinity pool that not only offers stunning fjord views but also pushes travelers' courage to the limit.

Istanbul-based architectural firm Hayri Atak Architectural Design Studio has designed a boutique hotel perched on a cliff, offering panoramic views of the entire fjord's picturesque landscape.

This boundary-pushing boutique hotel is conceptualized to be built atop Preikestolen, one of Norway’s three famous rock formations, also known as Pulpit Rock. Located in southwestern Norway, the 604-meter-high cliff faces Mount Kjerag and features a 600-square-meter flat summit that provides breathtaking views of the Lysefjord.

In the hotel concept, the cliff platform serves as the entrance lobby, with the building extending downward along the cliff face over three floors housing guest rooms and public spaces. The lowest level features an outdoor terrace that extends outward, equipped with lounge chairs for relaxation and conversation, plus a central see-through infinity pool that tests your nerves while offering nearly 270-degree views of the scenery.
 
Currently, this astonishing cliffside hotel is still under evaluation and discussion. Hopefully, it will one day become a reality, allowing travelers to experience the thrill of towering heights and test just how strong their hearts really are.
