Taiwan's Largest Tsutaya Bookstore Is Here！ Highlights of TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE’s 100-Tatami Parent-Child Space

Taiwan’s largest TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE, centered around parent-child lifestyle proposals, will open at CITYLINK Nangang in December.

Following the TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Songshan Station Front Store and the Neihu Store that opened in 2018, it has been officially announced that Taiwan’s largest TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE will open at CITYLINK Nangang by the end of 2019.

CITYLINK Nangang Store is located right above Nangang MRT Station and is one of the most family-friendly shopping malls in the Greater Taipei area. In addition, Nangang District is a key focus of Taipei City’s Forward-looking Urban Development Plan, with the next golden decade’s new eastern gateway expected to expand from Nangang Station.

The TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Nangang Store is Taiwan’s largest BOOK&CAFE lifestyle proposal shop, covering 500 tatami mats. Unlike other Taiwan branches, it is the first to center its entire area planning on interactive experiences that bring families together, targeting parents and children as its main customer base. The store features a specially designed 100-tatami parent-child space.

The Ruentex Group drew on the operational strategies of CCC Group, operator of one of the world’s 20 most beautiful bookstores—Tsutaya Books, and after multiple visits and discussions in Japan, tailored a localized parent-child and family-shared lifestyle proposal for customers in Taiwan.
