With Halloween just around the corner — a holiday that children eagerly await — many places are holding all kinds of Halloween activities. In the Lotus Garden Leisure Agriculture Area in Guanyin, Taoyuan, the “Guanyin Halloween Pumpkin Festival” has been organized, featuring a series of fun activities and treats centered around the Halloween icon: the pumpkin.

The “Guanyin Halloween Pumpkin Festival” runs from October 19 to November 3, with different pumpkin-related events held every weekend. These include stage performances, Halloween costume contests, haunted house parties, a thousand-person banquet, stamp-collecting challenges, and other fun competitions, attracting many families with children.

One of the most eye-catching features is the “Pumpkin Tunnel,” a lush green plant-covered walkway adorned with plump, bright orange, adorable pumpkins. Playful, romantic, and highly photogenic, although the pumpkins on the vines aren’t real, they still draw crowds eager to take photos, making it a very popular spot.

The festival area spans multiple locations including the Lotus Pond Leisure Farm, Sunlight Farm, Lotus Story Museum, Lin Family Ancestral House, Qinglin Farm, and Yachangbo Food Stall, all infused with Halloween pumpkin festival vibes. Decorations such as giant witch brooms, massive scarecrows, pumpkin sheds, inflatable pumpkin castles, cute tombstones, and a Halloween haunted house offer a delightfully spooky experience.
