A 4-hectare sea of flowers—must-take IG photo spot in winter’s most beautiful floral wonderland

The Guandu Secret Garden Flower Sea enters its second year, with this year’s flower field covering 2.38 times more area than last year—totaling 4.06 hectares—and is expected to bloom around mid-November.

This year’s Guandu Secret Garden Flower Sea features two flower fields, with blooms including cosmos, yellow cosmos, zinnias, and sunflowers. From the flower fields, you can also gaze at Guanyin Mountain and the majestic Datun Mountain Range and Qixing Mountain Range.

In winter, the Guandu Plain becomes a gathering place for flocks of birds. Watching herons and ducks busy foraging creates a warm, healing atmosphere. Those wanting to learn more about the birds among the flowers can also sign up for the Ecology Micro-Tour organized by the Public Works Bureau.
