After operating its final flight on October 26, 2019, Vanilla Air officially concluded its six-year journey since its establishment in 2013. It has merged with Japan’s Kansai-based Peach Aviation to become Japan’s largest low-cost carrier.

To celebrate, Peach Aviation is offering ultra-low promotional fares on 10 routes — seven from Taipei to various cities in Japan and three from Kaohsiung to Japan — starting as low as NT$600 for an “air tram” concept that aims to provide travelers with an economical, convenient, and worry-free way to travel to and from Japan.

Peach Aviation has been profitable for six consecutive years with high passenger occupancy. Though taking over Vanilla Air may result in temporary losses, the overall operations and marketing strategies have been well-prepared in advance. The promotional period runs from 21:00 on October 24, 2019 to 23:59 on October 28, 2019 (Taiwan Time), with the following discounted routes:
