Show Lo LION Makes an Appearance！Lineup for the 2020 Taipei New Year’s Eve Countdown Announced

The highly anticipated “Taipei New Year’s Eve 2020: The Most Exciting City” countdown will kick off at 6:30 PM on December 31 in front of the Taipei City Hall Civic Plaza.

This year’s lineup includes hosts Dee Hsu and Lulu Huang, as well as “Golden Melody Awards Male Singer of the Year” Leo Wang, “Golden Melody Awards Best New Artist” ØZI, These People, July Half, and Wei Jiaying. Rock band LION will also make their first appearance at the “Taipei New Year’s Eve 2020: The Most Exciting City” countdown, marking lead singer Show Lo’s return to the Taipei New Year’s Eve stage after a five-year hiatus.

LION’s hit classics such as “The Last Request,” “Our Love,” and “LION” are immensely popular and likely to be part of the countdown setlist, giving fans a chance to hear performances of songs from their latest album as well.

Taipei is the 30th city to be featured in the world-renowned gastronomy guide “Michelin Guide,” blending Taiwanese and international cuisines. Speaking of favorite Taipei foods and attractions, LION’s lead singer Show Lo highly recommends Taipei’s night markets, exclaiming, “Taipei’s street food is amazing!” Drummer Chen Heng loves ginger duck and especially recommends Ximending, a hub for subcultures and youth culture. Guitarist Zou Qiang and bassist FUMI both enjoy braised pork rice, with FUMI also being fond of the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, known for its arts and crafts. The band members are all looking forward to enjoying Taipei’s delicious food and scenic beauty during the countdown event.
