Emirates becomes the first airline to operate regular A380 services at Cairo Airport ! Not only replacing the previous Boeing 777-300ER, but also offering fixed weekly flights between Dubai and Cairo on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Popular destinations among Egyptian travelers include Beijing, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Sydney, Shanghai, New Delhi, Mumbai, New York, and Washington DC. With the addition of the Airbus A380 double-decker aircraft, Emirates expects to carry 9,200 passengers per week on the Dubai–Cairo route alone. Through its extensive flight network, the airline offers Egyptian travelers more tourism options and supports the local economic trade and tourism development in Egypt.

As demand on the Cairo route continues to grow year by year, Emirates has increased its service from an initial three weekly flights to 21, with plans to expand to up to 25 flights. The three-class A380 configuration includes a total of 489 seats: 14 private first-class suites in the upper front section, 76 fully flat business class seats in the upper rear section, and 399 spacious economy class seats in the lower deck.

Emirates’ award-winning ice inflight entertainment system offers over 4,500 channels, featuring a wide range of movies, TV shows, live sports, music, and more for passengers to enjoy during the flight.

First-class passengers can refresh after long-haul flights in the onboard spa showers, and both business and first-class passengers can indulge in fine dining and beverages in exclusive lounge areas, experiencing luxury and comfort akin to a five-star hotel.
