"Game of Thrones: Global Tour" Comes to Belfast
Exhibition Held at Filming Locations, Featuring First-Ever Public Display of Exclusive Props and Costumes
On April 11, much to the anticipation of fans, the Northern Ireland leg of the "Game of Thrones: Global Tour" opened at the Titanic Belfast in Belfast. Exclusive props and costumes from the series also made their first appearance at the exhibition, sure to delight attendees.
To celebrate the exhibition, several members of the Game of Thrones creative team and cast attended the opening event, including Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth, aka “The Onion Knight”), Ian Beattie (Ser Meryn Trant), and Emmy-winning costume designer Michele Clapton. Returning to the filming location, they were among the first to view and experience the new exhibition, praising the costumes, authentic props, and familiar sets from all seven seasons. Compared to previous stops, the Belfast exhibition features an additional display: the Stark family crypt beneath Winterfell.

The exhibition also features massive and historic dragon skulls, including the intimidating skull of Balerion the Black Dread, which once adorned the Iron Throne in the Red Keep until King Robert Baratheon had it hidden in the catacombs—an artifact that can also be seen at the exhibition.
