Children's Day Alert: Join China RV & Camping Day – A World of Fun and Heartwarming Family Moments

Campingis one of the best ways to bond with parents and children, providing a naturally comfortable setting for quality time. Stepping away from the city,campingamidst the mountains and waters, surrounded by grass and trees, with the sky and earth as your home—enjoy the morning light and evening mist, welcome the sunrise and fresh breeze. In this beautiful scene, you can spend time with family, savor the tranquility of the landscape, while your kids play by the stream with dragonflies and dance with butterflies. It’s a joyful part of life and the very essence of the “China RV & Camping Day” event.

To allow more people to enjoy the beauty of RV and camping life, 21st Century RV, in collaboration with the RV Committee of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the Self-driving Travel & Camping RV Branch of China Tourism Vehicle & Ship Association, the Automobile Camping Branch of the Federation of Automobile & Motorcycle Sports of China, the Beijing RV Camping Self-driving Tourism Association, 21st Century RV, and RV World, jointly launched the “June 6th China RV & Camping Day” event.

“China RV & Camping Day” is held on the first Saturday of June every year. It has been successfully organized for four editions and is beloved by campers. This year’s event falls on the first Saturday of June, which also happens to be Children’s Day on June 1st. The main venue remains at the RV World Park. With the theme of “togetherness,” we invite everyone to bring their kids for a camping adventure back to nature.

To give participating children an extraordinary camping experience, the organizers of this year’s China RV & Camping Day have planned the following special activities:

Highlight 1: Comfortable Camping Experience — Under the Starry Sky, Surrounded by Trees

Thiscamping eventfeaturesa large area dedicated to both RV and tent camping zones where you can camp in your RV or pitch a tent. While camping, prepare a hearty meal together as a family, enjoy homemade food, gaze at the sky, raise a toast, with kids playing at your feet—poetry and the distance are right there beside you.

Highlight 2: Hands-on Creativity and Cognitive Development

To encourage kids to engage their minds and enhance their hands-on skills while having fun, the organizers have planned creative activities such as DIY children’s craft umbrellas, windmill-making competitions, movable-type printing experiences, and traditional zongzi (sticky rice dumpling) making—waiting for little ones to join in.

Highlight 3: Parent-Child Interaction and Fun Competitions

The event also features exciting competitive activities such as RV cuisine showdowns, magical water baby DIY contests, and watermelon king challenges. These let parents and children work toward common goals, experience the spirit of friendly competition, enjoy heartwarming parent-child bonding, and give parents a chance to fully embrace the outdoors and reconnect with their inner child.

Highlight 4: Flea Market — Sparking Kids’ Financial Awareness

An family flea market activity is also organized, where children can trade to get their favorite toys and items. Through this, they’ll learn the essence of market exchanges, helping to instill habits of thrift and good financial sense.

Highlight 5: Diverse Entertainment Facilities — An Unforgettable Children’s Day

This year’s event will feature children’s entertainment facilities such as inflatable pools and inflatable fish ponds, ensuring kids have a blast on Children’s Day.

Highlight 6: A Variety of Special Foods — A Gastronomic Delight

To offer a cozy and enjoyable camping holiday, the event also sets up food stalls in the dining area, offering ice cream, cold drinks, fruits, barbecue, local snacks, and chain fast food—delivering an outdoor feast for all campers.

Highlight 7: Dozens of RV Models on Display — A Visual Treat for RV Enthusiasts

To provide RV enthusiasts with a closer look at the latest models, a dedicated RV exhibition area is set up. The zone will showcase new RV models from multiple manufacturers, delivering a visual extravaganza.

Friendly Reminders:

1. The venue is outdoors, so families are advised to bring their own sun protection and mosquito repellent.

2. Camping families should bring or purchase tents, picnic mats, and other outdoor gear on-site.

3. Families participating in the “water gun battle” should bring their own water guns, raincoats, and swim goggles.

4. On the day of camping, please prepare your own items such as umbrellas and raincoats in case of sudden thunderstorms.

5. Each family is encouraged to bring their own picnic food or purchase meals at the on-site food sales area at their own expense, though this is not mandatory.
