The Skyward Mars Festival: Rallying Call for the Mars Base Exploration

       The Skyward Mars Festival is an outdoor event hosted by Gansu Tianma Outdoor Culture Tourism Development Co., Ltd., and co-organized by China Tianma Cultural Tourism Group, Vning Sports Culture Industry (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and Beijing Tianma Visual Culture Tourism Development Co., Ltd. It has also received strong support from the CPC Jinta County Committee, the People’s Government of Jinta County, the Jinta County Culture and Tourism Bureau, and the Jinta County Commerce Bureau. The Mars base we’ve created for our future residents is located in Jinta County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, right next door to the cradle of China’s aerospace industry—the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

       The entire Mars base is divided into ten functional zones: the Mars Customs, Mars Immigration Office, Mars Energy Pod (dining area), Mars Bedroom (tent campsite), Mars Market (canopy area), Mars Artists (sculpture exhibition), Mars Parliament (stage performances), Mars Restroom, Mars Shower, and Mars Stadium. Here, you can enjoy over 108 hours of surreal Martian life.

       What do you eat on Mars? Where do you stay on Mars? Don’t worry—the founders of the base have taken care of everything for you. For meals, the base will provide delicious, nutritious daily meals to ensure you have the energy needed for activities. For accommodation, the Mars base features outdoor luxury tents made entirely from standard eco-friendly materials, offering2.5m*4m of spacious living space.Whether it’s food or lodging, the Mars base guarantees you a comfortable experience for 108 hours.

       During these five days of Martian life, your schedule will be packed. Each day at the Mars base offers exciting and engaging themed activities. On Day 1, after checking in at the Mars Immigration Office, you can head to the Mars Market to organize small activities—you can showcase your creativity to fellow residents, get to know one another, and liven up the base atmosphere. When night falls, the stage warm-up performances begin, followed by the official opening ceremony. After that, enjoy a 5-day theme music show, letting you revel in the wonderful Martian nights with joyful melodies.

Mars Mountain Bike Open

       Over the next three days, a series of Mars-themed competitions will kick off, including the Mars Family Challenge, “Mars Battle” Muay Thai Fighting Competition, Mars Hiking Challenge, Mars Mountain Bike Open, and Mars Kids’ Balance Bike Sand Dune Off-Road Race.

       The Mars Family Challenge lasts four days, ranging from comprehensive desert hikingto Gobi Desert hiking,fromfield event competitionsto the finalaward ceremony.We hope the entire competition process brings children and parents closer together, lets children grow through the challenges, and strengthens parent-child bonds. Winning families will receive prizes, bonuses, and certificates awarded by the organizers.

“Mars Battle”Muay Thai Fighting Competition

       The “Mars Battle” Muay Thai Fighting Competition will deliver a thrilling three-day martial arts spectacle. Twenty-four international fighters will compete over three days to determine three ultimate champions. Audiences can not only watch the world-class bouts but also participate in live Mars coin games and betting.Live online interactive sessions, the final selectedBest Audience Memberswill receive exquisite gifts from the organizers.

Mars Hiking Routes through Desert, Gobi, and Canyon Terrain

       The Mars Hiking Challenge is divided into desert hiking,canyon hiking combined competition,andGobi hiking, covering three types of terrain challenges.The race spans three days, and we hope all participating athletes will continuously push their limits in the harsh natural environment, achieving self-release and self-transcendence.

Mars Original Music Festival

       In addition, throughout the 108-hour Mars Journey, there are numerous entertainment activities. You can showcase your musical talent at the Mars International Music Competition — whether it's EDM, rock, pop, or rap, you can perform live. The organizing committee will record a singlemusic video for each performer and broadcast it on music streaming platforms after the Mars Festivalconcludes. We hope everyone can make friends through music and turn the Mars Base into a sea of joy with melodies.

Mars-Themed Art Installations

       The Mars-Themed Art Installation Competition offers a creative space where all art enthusiasts can fully express their artistic flair. All participants’ works will be displayed physically within the Mars Base, allowing residents to take photos with each uniquely imaginative installation and enjoy this taste of Martian culture.

Mars Base Shuttle Bus

       Additionally, you can ride the specially designed Mars Base shuttle bus to get around the base, immersing yourself in the true feeling of being on Mars. At night, the Mars Fluorescent Night Run around the base is your stage to let loose and express your individuality — what could be cooler than running on Mars? Leave your mark on the Mars Handprint Wall, release a Star River lantern by the 3,000 Ruoshui River, and adopt a poplar or saxaul tree in the “Boundless Imagination” charity forest to contribute to a good cause.……
