The five-starred red flag of China fluttered at the scene of the 88th World RV & Camping Congress.

From July 26 to August 4, 2019, the 88th World RV & Camping Congress (FICC) grandly opened in Châteaubriant, France. The event lasted for eight days in total, with RV enthusiasts from around the world participating. The 21st Century RV representatives, together with a total of five vehicles that took part in the 2019 RV Family Eurasia Journey, represented the Chinese RV community at this global RV gathering.

The World RV & Camping Congress is organized by the Fédération Internationale de Camping, Caravanning et de Autocaravaning (FICC). The FICC headquarters has seven branches: North America, Asia-Pacific, Arbitration, Environmental Technology, Assembly, Youth, and Europe. The congress held in France was organized by the European branch. Currently, the FICC has 57 camping clubs and 3.5 million campers.

A grand parade of thousands of RV enthusiasts at the World RV & Camping Congress

A total of five RVs from the 21RV RV Family Delegation participated in this World RV & Camping Congress. Among them, the Jinghang RV was driven by a Beijing family of four born in the 1980s, who joined the 2019 RV Family Eurasia Journey starting from Beijing. The Longcui RV also drove from China into Europe, taking over a month to cover more than 10,000 kilometers. These five RVs formed a courtyard at the World RV & Camping Congress site, creating a Chinese-style RV "Siheyuan" (courtyard).

Chinese representatives attended the Asia-Pacific RV & Camping Congress meeting. From April 30 to May 4, 2020, the decision was made to hold the 20th Asia-Pacific RV & Camping Congress at the Longmen RV Campsite in Taiwan.

The Chinese RV Family invited 400 RV enthusiasts from 26 countries to visit their Chinese RV Siheyuan. Chinese RV Family members prepared highly authentic Chinese dishes such as dumplings, barbecue, Erguotou, and spicy gluten for the global RV community. Even after all the food was shared, international RV enthusiasts were reluctant to leave.

The RV enthusiast parade is a signature event at every World RV & Camping Congress. Enthusiasts from over 20 countries around the world donned traditional costumes, waved flags, and brought small gifts as they paraded through the streets of France, covering several blocks in a lively procession hundreds of meters long.
