Recently, BRP announced a new appointment in its China leadership team. Mr. Meng Dong officially took on the role of General Manager of BRP China in June 2019, taking full responsibility for the brand’s expansion in the Chinese market.

Mr. Meng Dong, General Manager of BRP China

Mr. Meng Dong has extensive experience in the sportswear retail industry, with rich marketing expertise and channel resources. He previously served as President of Decathlon China and Malaysia. With his solid hands-on experience, Mr. Meng achieved milestone successes and developed mature, insightful perspectives on the Chinese sports market. His joining marks a new phase in BRP China’s development. In his new position, he will further advance BRP’s strategic layout and optimize its product structure in the Chinese market, driving new levels of business performance.

Globally, BRP continues to maintain steady growth and innovation momentum. At its global new product launch event, which concluded on September 10, BRP unveiled a series of exciting new products, including six new electric concept models — the E-CONCEPTS. These BRP concept products are designed based on existing offerings, demonstrating the brand’s ongoing push in the fully electric space as a leader in the powersports industry, committed to delivering fresher user experiences.

At the event, BRP also launched the 2020 Sea-Doo and Can-Am models. BRP applied a new platform to the Sea-Doo GTI model, giving the new Sea-Doo GTI a more fun, stable, and agile riding experience. A removable passenger seat provides more deck space, while factory-installed high-quality Bluetooth speakers and waterproof phone cases allow users to fully enjoy life on the water.

The new Can-Am lineup includes the 2020 Defender, Defender Limited HD10, and Defender PRO HD10. These new models focus on performance, comfort, quietness, and fun, not only further completing the Can-Am product line but also elevating the user experience to new heights.

It is foreseeable that with the addition of the new management team in China and the launch of innovative products, BRP — which offers a complete lineup including Sea-Doo personal watercraft, Can-Am all-terrain vehicles, and Ski-Doo snowmobiles — will embrace greater development opportunities in the Chinese market. From water and land to desert and snow, BRP will bring Chinese consumers more extraordinary experiences and the thrill of sports.
