Every spring, travelers rush to admire Japan’s cherry blossoms, not only making flights hard to book but also driving up hotel reservations. Now, the Japan Meteorological Corporation has released predicted dates for when cherry blossoms will bloom and reach full bloom. Travelers planning to book flights and accommodations, take note of the timing.

The earliest blooms start on March 19 in Tokyo, with Osaka, Fukuoka, and Nagoya all blooming in mid-March, while Hokkaido, due to its location and climate, sees blossoms in late April.
