To alleviate passenger flow during the election transportation period, Taiwan High Speed Rail, after reviewing capacity scheduling, will operate three additional northbound all-general-seating trains (excluding business class) that stop at all stations on the afternoon and evening of January 12. Departing from Zuoying Station and Tainan Station respectively, these services aim to better accommodate travelers heading north from Zuoying, Tainan, Chiayi, Yunlin, Changhua, and Miaoli on Sunday.

Passengers wishing to ride in the business class of these three trains may use their general-seating tickets and, depending on seat availability, pay the fare difference under the arrangement of the train conductor to upgrade.
