The “Lucky God Arrives at the Station – Fortune Gold” will go on sale at three specially designed ticket vending machines at Guandu MRT Station. The three limited-edition colors — “Fa” (發, fortune), “Cai” (財, wealth), and “Jin” (金, gold) — will each have 30,000 pieces available for NT$100 per card. Each card allows two unlimited-distance rides on Taipei Metro. Purchase is limited to two cards of each color per person. The cards are not reclaimed after use and can be kept as collectibles.

The ticket card colors are creatively designed: the circular card features a jubilant red “發” (fortune) in the center, a warm and uplifting orange “財” (wealth), and a radiant yellow “金” (gold). The plump, rounded characters evoke a pleasing sense of abundance. The reverse side showcases an ingot as the main motif, symbolizing harmony bringing wealth and completeness.

When purchasing, the exclusive vending machine will display an image of the Lucky God, where you can choose between two options: “Ask for a Talisman” (神加持“求符”) or “Ask for a Fortune Stick” (神解答“求签”). Selecting “Ask for a Talisman” gets you a fun, prosperity-boosting charm; choosing “Ask for a Fortune Stick” gives you a divination poem related to wealth from Guandu Temple. You can print the charm or fortune stick and even scan the QR code with your phone to save the good luck, soaking in the festive vibes for a prosperous Year of the Rat.

In addition to the “Lucky God Arrives at the Station – Fortune Gold” theme tickets, Guandu Station’s MRT merchandise booth will sell peace charm pendants from January 16 to 29 for just NT$50. Starting January 30, they will be available at Zhongshan Station’s MRT merchandise booth. These pendants can hold both the ticket and the fortune stick, so you can carry your good luck with you wherever you go.
