The Su’ao Service Area on National Freeway No. 5 is located at the endpoint of Freeway No. 5 and the starting point of the Su-Hua Highway Improvement Project. It has now officially opened to the public. FamilyMart has secured a six-year operating rights contract for the Su’ao Service Area and officially commenced business as of today!

With an ocean-themed design, FamilyMart has created a restaurant featuring dynamic lighting effects that mimic the changing interplay of light and shadows on ocean waves, offering visitors a dining atmosphere distinct from those in western Taiwan's service areas.
The Su’ao Service Area on National Freeway No. 5 is the 15th such facility nationwide and the only one in eastern Taiwan. It is also the first to greet the 2020 sunrise. Its architectural design resembles a giant ship entering the harbor, making it a popular photo spot for travelers visiting eastern Taiwan.
