The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum in Japan is a top choice for many family trips to Japan and one of the few dinosaur-themed museums in the world. This time, in collaboration with Digital Culture and Japan’s Yomiuri Shimbun, it presents the “Super Giant Dinosaur Exhibition,” which has debuted at Taipei Huashan 1914 Creative Park.

The “Super Giant Dinosaur Exhibition” features large-scale imports of supersized dinosaurs from the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum in Japan, fully showcasing 17 complete dinosaur skeletons and 12 dinosaurs over 4 meters in length that have traveled all the way from Japan. It allows visitors of all ages to learn about and explore the mysterious ecological diversity of dinosaurs from their birth to extinction.
Dr. Skeleton, who stands outside the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum in Japan, is also making his Taiwan debut.
The massive dinosaurs making their grand Taiwan debut this time include the fan-favorite Wyrex T. rex for both kids and adults, as well as the Fukui Raptor, representing Fukui Prefecture. In addition, the “Super Giant Dinosaur Exhibition” is also showcasing for the first time the most beloved mascot of the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum—the Dinosaur Doctor, who stands outside the museum in Japan—giving visitors of all ages the chance to get up close and take photos together！

The “Super Giant Dinosaur Exhibition” introduces cutting-edge information on dinosaur research through full dinosaur skeletons, fossil specimens, and restored models. It also showcases the most representative dinosaurs from various periods and regions, along with stunning mechanical dinosaurs reconstructed based on the latest research, to uncover the various reasons behind the “Age of Dinosaur Prosperity.” It’s an exhibition not to be missed during the winter break for kids.
