Bidding farewell to 2019 and welcoming 2020, the long light net on the exterior of Taipei 101 begins to showcase the features of Taipei and highlights of Taiwan. With the concept of Taiwan’s four seasons scenery and an experience that leaves visitors wanting more, it promotes the beauty of Taiwan to travelers from around the world.

This massive light net wall (T-Pad) continues the success of the previous two years and is being displayed again this year. Spanning a long rectangular area from the 34th to the 91st floor, it is highly eye-catching.
The T-Pad animation, which debuts alongside the fireworks, was produced by the “Taiwan Bar” team. It has the backing of the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, as well as sponsorship from private enterprises such as Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation and Chunghwa Telecom.
This light net wall covers an area of 8,400 square meters (235 meters long and 36 meters wide), making it the world’s tallest rectangular light wall. It uses a total of 140,000 LED lights to create colorful and dazzling patterns. Paired with the fireworks, it further amplifies the excitement of the countdown and the festive atmosphere of the fireworks display.
