Known for local ingredient-based bagels and mountain-style shaved ice among other signature dishes, on December 18, Haoqiu’s Xinyi branch launched a limited-time “Little Island Waffle Shop,” transforming Taiwan’s local produce into four uniquely flavored and delicious exclusive flavors: East Tea Island (fried tea red bean), West Orange Island (citrus), South Banana Island (caramel banana), and the seasonal-limited North Berry Island (strawberry cocoa).
Haoqiu’s limited-time “Little Island Waffle Shop” offers four uniquely flavored and delicious island waffles.
Additionally, the “Little Island Waffle Shop” collaborates with the “Taipei Illustration Art Festival” × “いくいく小高潮色计事务所” (Ikiku Kokochou Shikigumi Office) in both food presentation and space design, themed around “Little Islanders.” This links illustration art creation with the dining space brand to create an eating experience that is delicious, good-looking, photogenic, and fun.

Famous for its outrageously fluffy volcano whipped cream that’s taken the streets by storm, Japan’s wildly popular Hawaiian restaurant Eggs ’n Things has introduced an exclusive new item available only in Taiwan: “Fresh Strawberry Soufflé Pancakes.” Fresh strawberries paired with their signature volcano whipped cream are available at a special introductory price of just NT$398, offering a treat for both the eyes and taste buds.
Fresh strawberries and specially made strawberry sauce, along with a 5cm soufflé and 15cm volcano whipped cream, offer a feast for both the eyes and palate.
The “Fresh Strawberry Soufflé Pancakes” use fresh, plump strawberries and feature a specially developed strawberry sauce with a rich yet not overly sweet flavor. Drizzled over a nearly 5cm-thick soufflé and paired with the classic 15cm secret-recipe volcano whipped cream, the cloud-like soft texture and the rich egg aroma of the soufflé melt in your mouth with just one bite.
