During the 2020 Spring Festival transport period, Taiwan High Speed Rail will operate an additional 424 train services (213 southbound and 211 northbound), increasing capacity by 30% compared to regular days. A total of 1,793 train services will be provided over the 10-day period. The high-speed rail company urges passengers to book in advance and pick up their tickets early so they can go straight to the platform upon arrival.
Taiwan High Speed Rail will continue to offer the “Early Bird Discount” and the “University Student Discount” during the Spring Festival transport period. Passengers who book tickets between 5 and 28 days before their travel date may enjoy discounts of 65%, 80%, or 90%.
