The annual "Penghu International Marine Fireworks Festival," a highlight for travelers, will kick off in a spectacular fashion on April 20, 2020. This year, the event period has been extended to June 29, and over the course of two months, it will include numerous performances that fans are eagerly looking forward to.

In 2020, the Penghu International Marine Fireworks Festival will host fireworks shows every Monday and Thursday in Magong City’s Guanyin Pavilion during the event period. Additionally, three special island fireworks galas will be held on May 9 at Beigi Island, May 30 at Qimei Island, and June 13 at Wang’an Island — ensuring travelers get their fill of spectacular displays.
Beyond the regular fireworks spectaculars, this year also features three additional fireworks shows on outlying islands.
Moreover, on June 25 for the Dragon Boat Festival and June 29 for the closing ceremony, in addition to the dazzling fireworks displays, a special drone light show will be staged, combining music, fireworks, and light art to create an unforgettable visual and auditory experience.
This year, a drone light show will also be featured.
