The Liudui Hakka Cultural Park is a national-level Hakka cultural park established to preserve and showcase the Hakka way of life in Kaohsiung City and Pingtung County. It is divided into the Umbrella Rack Hakka Settlement Scenic Area, Multimedia Performance Hall, Jiuxiang Garden, Tobacco Barn and Rice Mill Permanent Exhibition, Natural Grassland Leisure Area, and Terraced Field Scenic Area. Various parent-child DIY workshops are often held here, making it a perfect destination for family outings.

Pingtung Distillery mainly produces rice wine and is the distillery that manufactures the largest quantity of rice wine under the Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation. The distillery has set up a Rice Wine Museum open to the public, where visitors can explore the production process of rice wine and learn about its various culinary applications.

Pingtung University of Science and Technology is located at the foot of Dawu Mountain in Laopi Village, Neipu Township, Pingtung County.
