From Saturday to early Monday morning (December 7 to 9), affected by a continental cold air mass and with gradually decreasing moisture, northern Taiwan will remain overcast with brief showers, bringing chilly weather. Central and southern Taiwan will return to mostly cloudy to sunny conditions, with daytime temperatures slightly rebounding.
From Sunday to Monday (December 8 to 9), with even less moisture, most areas will experience mostly cloudy to sunny weather, with large day-night temperature variations. The cold air mass will be strongest from Saturday all day through Sunday morning, but Sunday and Monday mornings and evenings will still see radiational cooling effects, keeping temperatures cool during those times. The lowest temperatures in central and northern Taiwan, as well as the northeastern region, will be around 10 to 14 degrees, while other regions will see lows of about 14 to 16 degrees. Be mindful of the large temperature differences between morning and evening, as well as between indoors and outdoors. Dressing in layers is recommended.
