Objects sing of life, just as coffee enriches time. As the year comes to a close, Starbucks has launched a collaborative merchandise series with children’s book author and illustrator Jimmy Liao.

This collaborative merchandise series continues the vibrant imagination from the Mangrove Branch, featuring Jimmy Liao’s work “Close Your Eyes for a While.” It depicts the whimsical journey of the little girl in the hat – the protagonist from the book – on classic Starbucks double-walled mugs and travel cards.
JL Dream Double-Walled Mug, comes with an exclusive gift box, 12OZ capacity, priced at NT$980.
The mug design features a blue or pink base, with patterns showing hats that symbolize wishes or hopes fluttering everywhere, echoing the book’s message: “What you thought was lost forever slowly comes back. What you thought impossible creates new surprises.” It mirrors the ups and downs of life, encouraging a more carefree attitude.
JL Confidence Double-Walled Mug, comes with an exclusive gift box, 12OZ capacity, priced at NT$980.
Except for the travel cards which are first available only at the Mangrove Branch on launch day, all other items in the series will be released at all Starbucks stores across Taiwan starting December 11.

Release Date: Starting at each store’s opening time on December 11, 2019.
How to Purchase:
1. On the release day of JIMMY LIAO + STARBUCKS collaborative merchandise, each customer can purchase one unit per specified item per transaction. On the first day of JL Flying Travel Card sales at the Mangrove Branch, each customer is limited to 20 cards per transaction. For additional quantities, customers must queue again. This limit does not apply starting December 12, 2019 (Thursday).
2. On the release day of JIMMY LIAO + STARBUCKS collaborative merchandise, specified items must be purchased directly at the counter. Drive-thru services at drive-thru branches do not accept queue-based purchases.
3. Availability is subject to in-store stock at each branch and will be sold while supplies last.
