A 15-meter-wide super moon floats on Bitan Lake, warming many hearts. The original JiMi Super Moon exhibition was scheduled to end on November 21, but due to an enthusiastic fan response and the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays, the New Taipei City Tourism Bureau has decided to extend the exhibition until January 1, 2020.

The JiMi Super Moon offers different sights during the day and night. By day, you can see a playful scene of a little boy snuggling with the moon, showcasing a unique charm of Bitan Lake. At night, two moons shine together, casting a comforting glow.

The moon is a recurring element in JiMi’s works, symbolizing warmth, care, and watchfulness. JiMi’s picture book “The Moon Forgets” has been in publication since 1999 and is now celebrating its 20th anniversary, with over 12 language versions released worldwide, bringing comfort to countless readers.

Public Transport Options:
Metro – Take the Xindian Line to Xindian Station. Exit and walk left and slightly back to see the Bitan Scenic Area.
Bus – Take buses such as the Songjiang-Xinsheng Trunk Line, Keelung Road Trunk Line, 644, Green 1, Green 3, Green 5, Green 13, 849, or 930, and get off at Xindian Metro Station or Bitan Station.
