On a crisp autumn day, you can enjoy romantic flower seas rivaling those of European gardens right in New Taipei City parks. The flower seas at 823 Memorial Park in Zhonghe District and the Disaster Prevention & Fitness Park in Wugu District are in full bloom, showcasing a variety of colorful gradient blooms that are a feast for the eyes.

Zhonghe District's 823 Memorial Park is located at the border between Zhonghe and Yonghe, near Yong’an Market MRT Station, making it easily accessible. The park’s flowers are predominantly red and purple, complemented by white crabapple blossoms, multicolored marigolds, and pink morning glories, creating a lively, colorful, and romantic sea of blooms.

The park also features facilities such as basketball courts, an inclusive children’s play area, a skating rink, and a dog-walking zone, making it perfect for families with kids or for taking elderly family members out for a stroll and some light exercise.

Last year, the meteor-themed landscape maze and rainbow flower carpet created at Wugu District’s Fitness Park were hugely popular. This year, the flower sea has been expanded even further, with purple salvia, red-pink crabapple blossoms, and yellow cosmos planted along the small hillside—absolutely stunning and beautiful.
