As the year draws to a close, the festive atmosphere of Christmas is gradually building. In addition to the extremely popular New Taipei City Christmasland, light art installations have also appeared on the Art Plaza on the 2nd floor of Taipei’s Uni-President Department Store, making a grand debut on November 15. On that day, a 13-meter-high Christmas tree was lit up, and will continue to shine brightly for over a month until December 25.
This year, Uni-President Department Store and Dream Mall have created a series of "Love? Sharing" Christmas photo spots themed around the American city of Las Vegas. Next to Starbucks, there are classic Las Vegas landmark signs, allowing visitors to soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the city that never sleeps.
Before the lighting ceremony began, performing artist Bii performed live and connected via video with Annier from Kaohsiung Dream Mall.
