The annual New Taipei City event “Christmasland” sees dazzling lights around Banqiao Station every year as the end of the year approaches, creating a lively nightlife atmosphere. New Taipei City Christmasland is already bathed in a sea of brilliant lights even before its official opening, brimming with Christmas spirit.
Get an early look at the lighting of New Taipei Christmasland this year. The main Christmas tree lights at Civic Square and the light projection on the wall of the City Hall building will be connected to the laser light show on the south exterior wall of Banqiao Railway Station, creating a “Two Towers and One Tree, the Only One in the World” audiovisual experience. This will produce a 360-degree multi-layered, three-dimensional laser light projection show.
On the day of the event, November 15, Japanese ultra-popular idol group “Nogizaka46,” featuring main members Sayuri Matsumura and Kazumi Takayama, have been specially invited to attend the opening ceremony and light up “New Taipei City Christmasland”!
