The 19-hectare Qingqing Grassland is situated within the Xiangshan Hills, covering an area of approximately 64 hectares. The vast grassy fields are a popular destination for leisurely strolls and outdoor activities. Every July, it hosts a hot air balloon carnival, and it also features the longest terrazzo slide in northern Taiwan.

Located in the Gongnan Coastal Scenic Area of Hsinchu’s Xiangshan District, the Gongnan Canal flows between Gongnan and Jincheng Lake. The scenery along the canal is picturesque, and whether you visit during the day or at night, you can enjoy the dazzling light displays on both sides of the canal as well as the refreshing sea breeze.

Hsinchu’s Haishan Fishing Port serves both tourism and fishing functions. It features a seaside observation deck and scenic walkways that offer visitors a comfortable space to enjoy the sea view and watch the sunset. Next to the fishing port is the fish auction area, where freshly caught seafood is often sold out as soon as it's brought ashore. The intertidal zone near the port offers different views depending on the tide—during low tide, you can observe the wetland intertidal ecology, while high tide brings the sight of fishing boats entering and leaving the harbor along with a stunning sunset. Visitors can immerse themselves in the maritime atmosphere and ecological beauty.
