June 30, sunny, cloudless, a welcome break from the rainy days before. The second event of the “Greenfield Themed Activity Year” — Adventure with Kailas: Hiking, Water Activities & Road Trips — kicked off at Qingshui Bay.
Qingshui Bay is situated in the middle reaches of the Yongding River, bordered by the scenic Eighteen Ponds of Western Beijing to the east and the famous Pearl Lake Scenic Area to the west. It is a rare, peaceful, and wind-sheltered haven along this section of the river, with crystal-clear water and cool, fresh air. It’s an ideal destination for summer camping. The lake is teeming with fish, making it a great spot for fishing enthusiasts to show off their skills. You can also have a barbecue by the lakeside, pitch tents, and fall asleep to the soothing sound of water and a sky full of stars — truly delightful!

Early Saturday morning around 10 a.m., over ten vehicles from the Wildcats team arrived at Qingshui Bay in Mentougou with team members, ready for a two-day, one-night camping trip.
