Japan’s annual Pokémon event “A Huge Gathering of Pikachu” always draws large crowds of fans each time it’s held. To celebrate the release of the new Pokémon SWITCH games “Shield” and “Sword,” a commemorative event called “Pokémon MAX” will be held in Taiwan, featuring a grand parade in Xinyi District.

The new Pokémon games “Shield” and “Sword” will be released on November 15.
The new Pokémon games “Shield” and “Sword” will be released on November 15, and this “Pokémon MAX” event will be held for three consecutive days from the 15th to the 17th. Not only will Pikachu appear in the parade, but also popular Eevee and other Pokémon will make an appearance, all taking place at Xinyi District’s Breeze Center Boulevard.
In addition to Pikachu, the parade will also feature giant Pokémon balloons and an exclusive merchandise zone.
The Pokémon MAX event will take place over three days, from November 15 to 17, at Taipei’s Xinyi Breeze Center Boulevard.
In addition to Pokémon such as Pikachu, the site will also feature large Pokémon balloons, a Pokémon exclusive merchandise sales area, and a gameplay experience zone for the new game “Shield” and “Sword.” Completing designated tasks on-site may also earn you exclusive merchandise gifts—fans shouldn’t miss it.
In addition to the parade and gameplay experience zone, a 150-person battle tournament will also be held in late November to early December.
