The "China Online Self-Drive Travel Expo" was officially launched online on September 14, jointly organized by China National Travel Magazine and the Sichuan Provincial Tourism Bureau.
      China National Travel Magazine is the only national-level monthly travel publication in China under the industry guidance of the China National Tourism Administration. The magazine is supervised by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and co-hosted by China Science Publishing & Media Ltd. and China Tourism News. The magazine has appointed Shao Qiwei, Director of the China National Tourism Administration, and Li Jinghai, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as honorary directors of its Advisory Committee, and Du Yili, Deputy Director of the China National Tourism Administration, as the director of the Advisory Committee. China National Travel Magazine was officially launched in September 2011. The magazine focuses on travel hotspots, spiritual experiences and inner exploration during journeys, providing readers with content of lasting value and a beloved reading experience that goes beyond landscapes.        The China International Self-Drive Travel Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Self-Drive Expo) is a major expo event jointly organized by the National Tourism Administration and the 12 western provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions), and co-hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Tourism Bureau, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Sichuan Provincial Expo Bureau, and the Chengdu Municipal People's Government. It is also an important part of the "China Western International Exposition."
       This year’s upcoming third China International Self-Drive Travel Expo will be presented through brand-new interactive experiences. The two major sections — the "Premium Exhibition Area" and the "Live Broadcast Area" — will showcase the rich tourism resources and unique features of the 12 western provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. This will better promote the concept of self-drive travel, advocate the spirit of self-driving, effectively spread self-drive travel culture, and turn the classic routes of the west into the dreams of self-drive tourists.
