The 2012 "Chenggong Auto Cup" 4th China Guizhou Zunyi Loushanguan・Hailongtun International Mountain Outdoor Sports Challenge concluded on October 17 in Zunyi, Guizhou. The Kolumb (Golonpo) Outdoor Team achieved an outstanding performance among all participating teams, ranking fifth with a time of 9 hours, 05 minutes and 40 seconds.
The total length of the race stages was 65 kilometers. The competition included events such as orienteering, cross-country running with a load, mountain biking, and mountain climbing. Competitors set off from the mountaintop campsite at Hailongtun at 8:00 AM, completing a mountain orienteering race and a road mountain bike race in sequence. Along the way, they also took part in local "farm work" activities such as rattan weaving, shelling corn, and catching ducks. The final 4-kilometer mountain climb was held at the famous Loushanguan Battle Site. The rugged terrain caused some participants to withdraw, but the Kolumb (Golonpo) Outdoor Team, embodying the brand’s spirit of perseverance, continually pushed forward through this challenging stage. They finished with a time of 9 hours, 05 minutes and 40 seconds, securing fifth place overall.
This event made a significant contribution to promoting outdoor sports and national fitness, helping to establish outdoor living as a new contemporary lifestyle.
