KAILAS “Beginners Unafraid” Live Scene
On November 17, the two-day Sanfo Outdoor 15th Anniversary Carnival was grandly held as scheduled at the Fireworks Square in Beijing’s Chaoyang Park. As a major event in the outdoor industry, numerous outdoor brands were invited to attend and contributed a variety of exciting on-site activities to the carnival. Among them, in the largest activity area at the venue, the “Beginners Unafraid” bouldering experience competition hosted by KAILAS was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the carnival.

During the celebration, KAILAS set up a climbing wall on-site and prepared climbing equipment and tools so that every interested participant could freely and easily try the experience. In addition to explanations from carnival staff, three well-known KAILAS climbers—including world speed climbing champion Zhong Qixin, China’s first 9A route completer Wang Qinghua, and Hong Kong’s youngest “King of the Mountain” Ho Sin Fai—performed live demonstrations for outdoor enthusiasts. Their professional and exquisite skills, along with simple and practical demonstrations, attracted many outdoor lovers to watch and participate. There were plenty of activities at the carnival. In addition to bouldering, in the KAILAS zone and across various Sanfo Beijing stores, a series of activities and surprises were ongoing, including trying out KAILAS’s new climbing pants and autumn/winter collections, as well as on-site lottery draws. The bouldering experience also featured multiple easy routes for beginners, with winners receiving prizes provided by KAILAS.
